Victory in WTCR: Norbert Michelisz triumphs at the Nürburgring

Norbert Michelisz took victory in the opening FIA WTCR race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver made a good start, moving to the front of the field in the first corner, before defending his lead for the rest of the race: After three laps of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the 34-year-old Hungarian crossed the finish line in first place in the #5 Hyundai i30 N TCR to claim his first win of the season.

The next races in the FIA WTCR will take place from 5th to 7th July at Circuito Internacional de Vila Real (Portugal).
