PAGID Racing Announces Partnership with Nürburgring eSports Team
Essen, April 17, 2025 – PAGID Racing is excited to announce its official partnership with the Nürburgring eSports Team, further supporting virtual motorsport. As a leading manufacturer of braking technology with over 30 years of motorsport experience, PAGID Racing, together with Nürburgring eSports, focuses on supporting emerging talents and bridging the gap between virtual and real motorsport.
Nürburgring eSports
The Nürburgring offers not only the adrenaline rush on the racetrack or karting track but also on the virtual racetrack since 2019. The Nürburgring eSports Team has been in existence since 2021 as Deutsche Payment eSports Team and was taken over by Nürburgring in October 2023, growing continuously since then. It currently consists of about 50 active drivers, including ten real racers, five young guns, and about five coaches.
The impressive data of the team in 2024 speaks for itself: 3,234 official iRacing races took place, over 7,910 hours were spent on the track, and a total of 150,206 laps were driven, including 10,919 laps on the legendary Nordschleife.
Another highlight is the use of the world's first DRseven© simulator by Adrenalin eSports GmbH. This simulator, equipped with seven actuators and six degrees of freedom (DOF), offers a completely realistic driving experience where every bump in the road is felt. For sim racers, the Nordschleife becomes a thrilling and sweat-inducing experience.
Through the cooperation, the vehicles are now equipped with the PAGID Racing logo.

These include the PAGID Racing Curve in the Müllenbachschleife, named after PAGID Racing, symbolizing the close partnership and commitment to motorsport. Additionally, PAGID Racing has equipped the Nürburgring Driving Academy with high-quality brake pads, providing participants with an optimal driving experience and enhancing safety on the track. Another highlight is the "Chill and Brake Zone" on the ring°kartbahn, offering guests and spectators a relaxed atmosphere to unwind and watch the thrilling kart races.
